After your first 3 months at Ruby Play, we can tailor working arrangements to fit your requirements. Being in the office is fun and helps with project collaboration, but we’re flexible to find a solution that works for you.
We regularly compare our pay rates to industry standards and consider our location. Our pay levels correspond to individual skills and experience. Fairness and transparency are our goals, and we believe compensation should be accompanied by good benefits, a positive work environment, and a high quality of life
We offer free medical insurance on our nominated scheme for permanent employees, with the option to add benefits or family members at your own expense, including pre-existing conditions.
Our priority at Ruby Play is the hauora wellbeing of our people, which includes physical, mental, spiritual, and social wellbeing. We provide access to therapists at our expense, so you can always talk to someone when you need it and bring your authentic self to the studio.
Our sister companies have joined to form a Rainbow Group, which we have just linked in with Ruby Play. We are a bunch of happy queers and allies that promote the wellbeing of our Rainbow community.
Using our Human Resource Information System - BambooHR, you’ll have one-on-one meetings with your Manager to discuss your individual goals. Our Leadership Team also conducts an annual performance review, incorporating feedback from peers and yourself.
We work in a hybrid mode and have set days when we all meet at the office. On the other two days, you can choose whether you prefer to come to the office or work remotely.
You will have some onboarding provided to you prior to your start date via Bamboo HR, then be allocated a buddy from your first day. You will have quite a few onboarding sessions within your first few weeks to bring you up to speed on Ruby Play. We will help you every step of the way.
There isn't one, we want you to come to work as your authentic self and value individual expression.
We value your work life balance and as long as you can attend your daily stand-ups and get your work completed between the hours of 7am and 7pm, we will be as flexible as we can. Some departments may be rostered for weekend work depending on customer requirements.
We have an active Rainbow Community within our Group. We have introduced many policies to support this and we continue to revisit these and provide ongoing training to our staff.
