Dev Update - Nov 10 - The Tournament

Greetings Slayers,

Welcome to another Dev Update. We have some exciting news to share this week and we hope you’ve been practising.

The Tournament

From the 16th to the 28th of November, we will be running our very first tournament. In that time, Slayers will be competing for the very top spot on the leaderboard.

The slayer that manages to climb and hold onto the rank 1 spot on the leaderboard at the end of the tournament will become the winner and win 4000 $RUBYs.

Keep in mind that there can only be one winner so remember to fight hard but most importantly have fun!

Minor Balance Changes

With the tournament, we did some minor balance changes to hopefully make the early game experience a bit smoother and the later stages a bit more challenging.

Terms and Conditions below:

DESCENT INTO CRIMSON HOLLOW TOURNAMENT PROMOTION

The following terms and conditions shall apply to the Tournament Promotion (the “Promotion”) being offered by Ruby Play Net Limited (RPN).

1. Promotional rules

• a.) The Promotion will run from 16 November 2022 to 28 November 2022 NZST (The Promotion Period) at https://crimsonhollowdescent.com/ (the Site).
• b.) The Prize will be awarded to the eligible player that scores the most points on The Site during the Promotion period (The Winner).

2. Eligibility. The following terms apply to this Promotion:

• a.) A person must have a valid account on the Site and a valid Ruby Rewards account.
• b.) An account holder can choose a ‘nickname’. Players with nicknames that RPN deems to be offensive will be ineligible to enter the Promotion.
• c.) Employees of RPN are ineligible to enter the Promotion, and will not receive any prize if they would otherwise win. 
• d.) After the Promotion Period has ended, the Winner will be contacted by RPN to claim the Prize. If the winner cannot be contacted within 48 hours of the end of the Promotion Period, then the Prize will be awarded to the next eligible player with the most points on the Site. 

3. The Winner will receive 4000 $RUBY tokens. 

Disputes. RPN reserves the right to interpret all questions and conditions in regard to the Promotion, and its decisions shall be final.
